Hi, I’m Megan Farris—but around here, it’s Just Megz. The lighter, softer, truer version of me. Writer, retreat host, solo mom, and a believer in the kind of magic that happens when we stop trying to be everything to everyone—and start becoming everything to ourselves.

For over 20 years, I built my career in the automotive industry—leading complex projects, managing programs, and navigating the world of logistics and deadlines. I was successful by the traditional definition, but deep down, something was missing. I wasn’t me—not fully.

I've always been multi-passionate. A dreamer. A storyteller. Someone who never quite fit into one box. I used to see that as a flaw. Now… it’s my greatest gift. I’m done trying to niche myself into a corner. Done trying to pick one lane. Because truthfully? I was never meant to choose just one.

So, It’s Just Megz—is a space where I could be all of me. The writer. The creator. The explorer. The woman who moves with her intuition and pivots when the energy shifts. The woman who builds retreats for solo parents and families to feel supported. The woman who creates spaces for other women to rest, grow, and reconnect with themselves. The woman who believes in messy middle seasons and magical reinventions.

Now, I live in a way that honors what feels aligned. I publish books that make little ones feel seen. I write blogs that reflect the realness of this becoming. I host retreats that bring people together to heal, laugh, explore, and breathe. I’ve swapped the hustle for flow, and pressure for peace.

This space is a reflection of who I’m becoming in real time. I’m constantly evolving—and I hope you are too. Because that’s what life is: one big permission slip to change, to pivot, to try again.
